Ordinary People | Greenpeace

This is a TV ad for Greenpeace Germany to recruit new memberships. Greenpeace was founded in 1971 by a small group of concerned individuals, who set sail to Amchitka island off the coast of Alaska to try and stop a US nuclear weapons test. Their old fishing boat was called “The Greenpeace”. Today, Greenpeace is present in over 40 countries around the world.

Greenpeace is formed my members who care about causes whole heartedly – with an activist mindset. Just how they began. So to recruit new members we wanted this creative to be led by GP ambassadors who have fought and been by GP’s side for many years. By doing so, we introduce a sense of trust to the brand, while also delivering a powerful, inspiring and personal message to new members. There’s a lot of history behind the work Greenpeace do, so this concept was all about showing how dedicated their members really are.
